You know, I really like you and I don't mean any disrespect. I understand about name calling. Been there, it's not fun but it's the internet. I probably won't ever meet any of these people in real life. They don't matter a bit to me.
Is there meanness, nastiness and bullying here? Yes, as there is on every forum I have been on since 1996. Anonymity allows people to act in ways they would never act like face to face.
But there is a tremendous amount of help and support here, too. Don't throw out the baby with the bath water. As they say in 12 step programs, take what you like and leave the rest. That is what the block button is for. Let it go. The people you don't like can disappear, just like they never existed. Then all you will be left with is the help and support that we all need. If a person has nothing useful to offer then make them go away. If only in real life...

I am a stand against the bullying, that's all.

It's because of the thoughtful and wonderful support on the rest of the site that I can and will stand strong here.

OH matters that much to me, especially for the new ones coming in. I will simply continue to post a supportively as I can, and that is all I can do.

How do I say this? Again, no disrespect but you need to choose your battles. Children and animals being abused I will take a stand for. Bullying on a forum? Not worth my energy. Save your energy for things that matter and that you can make a real difference in. Don't worry about the other people who may come in and be victims of the bullying. Most of us here have taken it and are still alive to tell the tale. Take everyone's advice
