Left sided pain

Had gastric bypass surgery three weeks ago. I tore a muscle about 5days post op and now my left side is really hurting. Having sharp burning pain. Anyone else having this pain?

Maybe it has not healed yet.

I'd have to agree with Lisa....3 weeks is still early. Have you called ur Dr.  I would just in case, but I tend to be a freak like that.  Better safe than sorry I always say....Good luck mama!!

I had pain in the left lower quadrant after surgery.  At my 3 week post-op appointment, the nurse practionner explained that the muscles were healing.  That is where they do the torquing with the instruments.  I was likely starting to feel it more at the time because there was probably less swelling and I was more mobile/active.
It was not a sharp burning pain though; like a stiff muscle strain.

That information, along with the torn muscle like make for a painful mix.
