Thanks for the advice I will have to try it.  I have only lost 24 pounds since my surgery last month so I don't feel like a shopping spree is in order just yet, but can't wait until I can do some shopping.

So heres a quick tip another RNY patient told me about Goodwill and Salvation Army etc. There are some times of year where you will find better stuff. Like if you live around a college town, take a little trip around the time of graduation to go to their Goodwill. Alot of parents come to help their kids move out and make them get rid of stuff so they don't have to pack it. Also in the spring when people clean out their closets. I pretty much just go twice a year and stock up. Oh after Christmas is usually good timing too! Happy Hunting!

I go to Goodwill at least every other Wednesday or Sunday ($1) day. I have shopped there since I started losing weight and I have kept on because I cannot see going to the regular high end department stores and spending what they want for an outfit.  All the clothes I have on in my pictures are from Goodwill. I would pay if I needed something for say a really important occasion or something but not for everyday wear.

So cool!  We experienced the West Bloomfield Salvation Army last week while we were south for a doctor's appointment.  $12 for a pair of leather boots that I know retailed for $300.  $78 spent all together on lovely name brands and that was only a fraction of what I really could have spent--not just for me but for my hubby and kids too.  I am, officially, a clothes *****  I love, love, love it!
