If something feels wrong, call your surgeon. Also, stop eating stupid things. Stick to what you're supposed to do. It sucks, but for the health of you and your surgery you have to.

get the candies out of the house. Also get rid of anything else that might tempt you. You may end up very emotional from the release of the hormones that were stored in the fat that is now melting away.

If you are not feeling well or even just scared i'd call the dr. office. They get paid well enough to calm your fears or if its serious they should want to know as soon as possible.

You can get thru this without candy. I did. No way did I think I would be able to. I had serious doubts, but I did it. I'm so grateful now that I did. Don't let this get you down. You are gonna do great!

Met my first goal, met my second goal, met my surgeons goal. Now I have a new goal!

Which surgery did you have? If you had the Sleeve or the DS, swallowing the hard candy won't hurt you---it will dissolve in your stomach. If you had the RNY or the Band, it *might* get stuck in your stoma, but again, eventually it WILL dissolve.

But throw the candy away. Even sugar-free, candy is NOT something you need to be eating. Sugar-free does NOT mean calorie-free, and sugar-free sweets can still cause cravings.
