Thanks for posting this interesting article, there's a lot of good advice here.

The only bit I disagree with is the one about connecting temptations like chocolate or wine with negative experiences. Of course, your mileage may vary, but I like to enjoy whatever I eat, even I don't eat it that often. I don't like to think of certain foods or beverages as "bad."

I also don't think of any food or beverages as "bad".

I didn't need to " get right" with food, food needed to "get right" with me!

This is my surgeon, he is an amazing man, who just gets it. He is so supportive and offers all of his patients excellent followup care including a nutritionist, a councellor and a phychologist all free for 2 years!! And even after 4 years he is still only a phone call away for me, and will always let us know of new and important information

He will be at the Conference here in New Zealand, along with Katie Jay who is coming as our Keynote speaker.

We will also have Connie Stapleton's book as well as Dave Fouts (Chef Dave) Book to giveaway at the conference, not to mention the kindness of OH who have donated magazines for everyone.

We don't have alot of support and resources in New Zealand, so I am encouraging people to come here and sign up and take part.

Thanks for being such an excellent and long term role model! It does my heart good to know that following the strategies works.

"Support fosters your growth. If you are getting enough of the right support, you will experience a major transformation in yourself. You will discover a sense of empowerment and peace you have never before experienced. You will come to believe you can overcome your challenges and find some joy in this world." Katie Jay
