You can never tell when they're going to actually be born!

...although for me, it'll probably be around the 23rd because my doc said they do c-sections about a week before the due date.

How's everything been going for you?

Things have been going well. I'm actually kind of...bored?...with everything at the moment. I am not showing at all, haven't gained any weight, don't yet feel movement, don't yet know the sex, and don't have any symptoms other than fatigue. So I basically just feel lazy all the time with no other signs as to why  :P

How are you doing?

Bored describes what I am right now perfectly! I have a bump but I've only gained 6 lbs and I want that bump to be huge :(

I hopefully find out 11/11 if I'm having a boy or a girl, and I'm counting down the days. I hate surprises.

I weigh about four times a year, at my PCP's office.

Why? For one, I don't own any scales. For another, I'm not all that concerned about the number on the scale---I'm much more concerned about how my clothes fit, how I feel, how healthy I am. I know from past experience that my weight can change by as much as 7 pounds from morning to evening to morning again. As long as the number I see at the doc's office remains within a five pound range, I'm good. The last three times I've weighed, I've been up one pound, then down two pounds, then up one pound.

I'll be 8 years post-op come December, and I think everything's pretty stable now.

I have to say for me I weigh everyday. Rain or shine first thing in the morning I do it. I have done that for years. It started about six months before surgery. I have found that people weigh different because its what works for them. I myself have to say it keeps me on track and want to know...

Karma....What would life be without it?  250lbs gone! 410/160... Life's sweet!

The number on the scale isn't the most important thing to me. Sometimes I weigh daily, and sometimes I weigh quite infrequently, but either way, it shouldn't affect how I behave.

I want to repeat that: THE NUMBER ON THE SCALE SHOULD NOT AFFECT HOW I BEHAVE.

I KNOW what is or is not healthy for me to eat. I KNOW what is or is not a reasonable portion size. I KNOW what "good" habits are. I should not be changing these things based on the gravitational pull on my body on any given day. My measures of success include things like how well controlled my type 2 diabetes is, how my clothes fit, whether I can run up a flight of stairs without getting winded, how good my lab results are...and now, for me, how well my pregnancy is going!

When I first started losing, I never weighed myself. Probably because I was afraid of seeing how much I really weighed, but also because I didn't want to beat myself down over the numbers. I just focused on how my clothes fit. Eventually I started weighing myself twice a week, as well as measuring my waist. Now I weigh in twice a week just to keep an eye on my numbers. It's crazy to me that I can get on the scale without getting all anxious.

Can you tell me more about the Withings WiFi scale? That sounds rather awesome.
