I would check in with your doctor. I have personally never had the problem but have heard of others having it for a short while. I think at 7 weeks out things should be more controllable and you might have C-diff or another type of intestinal bacteria. Infections of this sort are commonly contracted in the hospital.
I hope you get resolution.

Well, I should probably have stated which one in my op. I decided to make an appointment with doc anyway. I can get in on Monday and flight not 'till tuesday. I've got a sore lower back which I don't usually get unless it's TOM. and I'm going a lot to toilet and not doing much so it may be an infection even though there's no discomfort.
None of us are doctors here and should only relate our personal experiences - but do check it out with your doc asap.
I had incontinence prior to my RNY and have had 2 surgeries to fix it. To me there was nothing worse :( The embarrassment was...ugh!
I found some great incontinence pads that were thin enough to keep me feeling safe and some feminine wipes for incontinence as well - helps the smell. TMI but just in case you need the info for later.
I hope it's temporary.
Peace

I am going to keep an eye on it, but can't see the doctor because I have a family emergency which means, I'm flying out the country for a couple of weeks.
Thinking about it last night and it just started out of the blue, makes me think that maybe I strained something at the gym. Sounds odd, but I just joined the gym and used a machine that works the inner thighs adducter (groin muscles). It's supposed to strengthen and tighten but I did feel I was straining while doing it, so I hope this is just some weird side effect that will wear off.
If it's not better by the time I get back, I'll go see the doctor.
