A Stapling question ?

I went to college with the wife of a local physician.  She told us to think of physicians and auto mechanics as being the same career.  One works on metal and one on flesh but you have to put everything back together correctly or the person or car will be defective.

Hi: I love this answer, The only difference is, auto mechanics get a new model car every year, doctors work on the same human model every time, by now they should get it right. Just joking, cars today are very complicated and it takes a skilled technician to work on all that computer stuff, glad I'm retired. I have a lot of respect for doctors their profession is one where they deal with healing and death all the time. You can always buy a new car, buy you can not buy a new life, choose your doctors wisely.
PS: Mechanics motto: "If it doesn't fit force it and if it breaks it was meant to be replaced"

"And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were merry, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire... Office Space reference? Anyone?

Thank you, TXKashmir!

88, if you go on youtube, you can find a doctor (whose name escapes me) show the staple tool they use for the VSG. Seems like his name is hispanic and starts with an R....

Dr Aceves showed me the tool he used on my wife's VSG! It's quite interesting to see in person. Basically makes 2 rows of 3 staples and the two rows are separated the two rows. He was quite eager to answer questions about it.

I saw how it works on a video - anyone interested should go to youtube and look. it is very cool and I found it reassuring.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.
