Hi to all: I read an article about a gentleman who had gastric sleeve surgery and was complaining about all the noises he heard coming from his stomach after being sleeved. He hears growling, sizzling, roaring and the sensation of running water, on top of many others noises. Has anyone heard or have experienced this happening to them ?

mine does. My husband asks me all the time if I am hungry because it gurgles...especially when I'm laying down.

it hasn't caused me any problems or embarrassment in public though

Finally found a talker, I mean your sleeve lol. Another thing you can do is, if anyone hears your stomach you can tell them you're a ventriloquist just practicing you trade.
This is just the lighter side of me, the other side is much heavier, lol again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, AS I`M READING YOUR POST MY THROAT IS PLAYING A TUNE! IT USUALLY HAPPENS TO ME AFTER DRINKING BUT MY HUSBAND TELLS ME HE CAN`T HEAR IT AND IF ANYONE ELSE DOES WHO CARES! WE HAVE GONE THROUGH ALOT TO CHANGE OUR HEALTH AND IF PEOPLE FIND IT ANNOYING TOO BAD LOL GOOD LUCK

Mine definitely talks. I never really "feel" it. It just makes digesting noises all the time. It's not a big deal to me. It's not loud enough to cause a public panic.

Mine never makes any noises. I think in 2.5 years post-op, I've felt and heard my stomach growl/rumble one time and it while I was pregnant.
