It is worth discussing how professional psychologists could potentially violate ethical issues in anonymous environments. It’s apparent that anonymity increases disinhibition (Suler, 2004) and often promotes immoral behaviour such as flaming (Moor et al, 2010; Douglas & McGarty, 2001; 2002), bullying (Misna et al, 2009; Tokunaga, 2010) and general hate (Douglas, 2007).
I have in no way participated in flaming, bullying, or hate.
I have consulted with my professional lawyer regarding this, have shown him copies of pertinent posts and threads, and he commends my clear head.
Living life is an experiment, an exploration, and it is in that sense that I am exploring.
