My surgery date was 9/15 and been stuck at 168 for 3 weeks.....ugh!! So, I've only lost 49 pounds so far
I've been averaging between 750-1,000 calories per day and keeping my protein and water intake at great levels. Carbs are usually below 80 grams per day and I get those from greek yogurt, fruit and veggies.
I was doing water aeorbics 3 days a week but started boot camp this week. Hopefully I'll see the scale start moving downwards!! I'm gaining muscle definition and feel great so I'll keep focusing on that.
It sure is frustrating though.....

I'm getting stronger with my workouts so I'll chalk that up to a NSV. I've lost about 46 since surgery. I'm not done I know that especially with the summer months coming up. Think I'm frustrated because I'd like the occasional week to go down by a couple of pounds but that hasn't happened in months.
I expected the slowdown to occur at the six month mark. Just don't want it to get slower because I don't have a lot of room to change up what I'm doing.
Like you, I get my protein in and work out and I could eat less I guess but don't want to feel deprived because then it will just be like every other diet.
Speaking of not feeling deprived, it's time for my protein shake.
And get ready for my 90 min zumbatronic event!

Everyone is different and weight losses will differ as well. However, you might want to change up the amounts of each type of food you are eating so your body has to rethink it`s intake. So up your proteins to over 100 g daily, lower your carbs - cut down on fruits as they are very high; eat more veggies, drink more water. If you are eating potatoes, rice, crackers, bread, remove them from your intake and see what happens..
See if a week or so of that makes a difference. Sometimes you just have to remind your body that you are in control, not ìt`.

I think if you compare your % of loss you'll see you are losing just fine. You've already lost almost 50% of your excess weigh since surgery. Plus, while we workout our body is not only losing fat but gaining muscle. If you aren't already start taking your measurements. Even if you aren't seeing the scale move as fast as you'd like, if you are sticking to the plan you'll see you are losing those inches.
