in the insurances' hands now

 today was my last pre-op appt with the dietitian, and they are sending everything over to the insurance to see if i get approved or not for the surgery!? .. i have been seeing the doctor since august of 2011 
  highest weight is 260
  weight now 243.5          but I'm only 5'2 so that's alot for me
insurance required me to lose 5-10%of my weight 
6 months with the dietitian
Ive had ever test you can name of done. the doctor office said hopefully i hear something within a week or so.. the waiting game is the worst part for me cuz i so impatient..

 i am in the same place you are. waiting is driving me nuts. i  just can't believe that they would spend so much money and my out of pocket they would tell me no. good luck to you and let us know what happens.

My insurance was just approved! Who do you have insurance through? I have cigna. I started my journey with the insurance about the same time you did! It only took a week for them to get back to my coordinator! I hope they are that quick for you!!!!!!! Good luck and feel free to add me as a friend! I'd love to share this journey! :)

 i have buckeye .. they not the best but they do aloow people to have this surgery soooo ?! .. office called me today and said be ready to jump thru some more hoops .. so i have a feeling it will be proble 2 months or so the way she was talking the morning :(
