Can we digest the protein in click or is it all just a waste? I just tried it for the first time and OMG I love it. I mixed 1 scoop click (7.5) with 1 scoop jay Robb (25) with 10 oz soy milk (7) for about 39.5 g protein but I'm wondering if the protein in click is wasted.

"....a
study found that whey and casein (the two proteins found in milk) digested at different speeds, with whey being a ‘fast’ protein that spiked amino acid levels before dropping (after 3-4 hours), and casein being a ‘slow’ protein that raised amino acid levels more gradually but remaining stable for an extended period (7-8 hours)."

Uh...I'm a little confused. I shouldn't drink milk?

Whey protein and casein are both milk based proteins.

Most of the products we use post WLS are whey protein isolates -- CLICK has whey and casein protein -- whey is quickly absorbed, and casein takes longer to break down.

But, if you're mixing up a 40 G protein shake -- that's like eating 4-6 ounces of meat -- and nearly reaches your lower goal... right?

Ok I think I understand now. I didn't want to sound ungrateful, I appreciate the information you gave me I just didn't understand it. So, it's not a waste, it just takes my body longer to use it right?
