I heard from my surgeon's office this afternoon.  At this point, all I need is my letter of medical necessity from my doctor and then they'll submit to my insurance!  I'll be getting the letter written next week when I see him.  That just leaves the 20 pounds I have to lose, the pre-op class, and the pre-op liquid diet.

It was definitely the encouragement I needed after struggling with the diet today.
