liquid diet

  today is day 8 and that means my surgery is one week away  Ive lost 10lbs so far .. so maybe id lose another 10lbs before surgery .. and i already lost 10lbs before when i was with my dietitian so a total lost of 20lbs so far before surgery and that is amazing to me ..if i can do this now i cant imagine how good it will be after surgery .. I'm getting so excited !!!

 Maybe I need to do the all liquid this week before my pre-op I still need to loose a good 10 lbs so they dont make me reschedule. Good job!

You have the right attitude with your goals and objectives. You will be so pleased with the results. I lost a total of 38 pounds in 2.5 months doing the 2 protein drinks as meal replacements prior to surgery and am so happy that I did.

Keep up the good works and best of luck with surgery. I had my RNY on 2/22/12 and no regrets whatsoever!

I am on the same schedule as you and also on day eight of the liquid diet. My surgery is also May 14. It's been real tough for me but I will make it through! I can't believe it's only six days away! I am getting excited and I'm sure you must be too! I wish you the best of luck.

Thats a great job.  I have my surgery on the 16th and am having to do a full liquid diet two weeks prior as well.  I am down a total of 10 thus far, fingers are crossed.  It can be somewhat difficult, we have four children and my husband.  For some reson they all still feel the need to eat, :)  .  This will all be well worth it in the end.  Good luck with everything.
