Hello everyone! I'm in the very beginnings of my journey. I don't have my first WLS class until August (because of the demand), but I'm already revving up! I've been debating WLS for a few years now and have finally decided I am ready to be healthier. I'm ready to make a lifestyle change that's going to save my life. I don't know why I was so afraid for so long. Anyway, looking forward to researching, asking questions and learning about what will be best for me. And especially looking forward to offering and sharing in supporting each other as we all move forward. :)

I'm just starting too. I had my first visit with the surgeon and nut last week. Looks like I will be having surgery late fall.

Thanks! I think it will come fast too. I am surprised it is going to take you so long to even get a consult. I guess I am spoiled living in an area filled with hospitals. I went from looking into the surgery to meeting witht he surgeon and being qualified in a week. Hope everything goes smoothly for you.
