I'm afraid there is no definitive answer to your question. It really depends on which meds you're taking, and how YOUR body reacts to the surgery. Vitamins are absorbed in pretty specific places in the small intestine, and those sites have been mapped. Medications---well, I don't think anybody really knows exactly where each one is absorbed, and they, unlike vitamins, probably don't have specific receptors.
I don't take any prescription meds any more, on a regular basis. I have taken antibiotics, etc., on a short-term basis and everything seems to be fine. Same with OTC things like NSAIDs, sinus remedies, etc.
