June 6 is my four month anniversary and I hit my half way goal of 75lbs lost yesterday. My daughter graduates on June 16 and I was hoping to be down 80lbs by then. I am sure I can lose 5 lbs in next ten days.

I am very pleased with the difference 4 months has made. Though I must admit I didnt really feel like I had lost weigh until last week. All of a sudden within 2-3 weeks I went from a size 20 pant (a litte baggy) and 3x tops to a size 16 pant and 1x tops. People are starting to notice.

I have had my photos taken at a couple of events lately and can see the difference in my face. I will try to post pictures soon. I have been living on other people photos through the past year and a half and really appreciate thsoe that post pictures. Thank you

Things to Celebrate
- I flew on an airplane and had about 4 inches of belt dangle vs stretching it to the end and sucking it in to get it done up. Did not feel like my thighs were encroaching on the seat beside me.
- I can walk much farther without getting winded 2km no problem.
- My balance is better
- I dont get pissed off if I have to park on the other side of the parking lot and walk
- My BMI dropped from 49.7 to 37.20
- My waist dropped from 46" to 39.5"
- My hips dropped from 56" to 48.5"
- Bra size from 40-42DDD-E to 38DD
- My old foods no longer seem appealing and I rarely think about them.

Goals to Reach For
- Other than walking a couple of times a week I haven't been exercising. Need to pick that up
- Drink more water

Two more months before I leave for my sabbatical. I hope to be down another 20-25lbs by then and reach onderland. I am so excited to be able to travel and not have the weight encumber and inhibit me from exploring all I want to explore and do all I want to do on this adventure. My first stop is Peru. I can't wait to walk the Maachu Pichu grounds  ... then off to Mexico to dive for 9 months.

I think you are doing awesome better than me perhaps

To clarify my 75lbs lost includes 20lbs from the preop diet which started Jan 10/12. So since my Feb 6/12 surgery I have lost 55lbs.

Have a good day
