Am getting tired of the same old "sweet"ish protein shakes....and similar Isopure type drinks.

Am wondering....are there any protein drink options that are Savory or Salty?

Being from India...i have tried salty Lassi with the high protein yogurt.  I use that now about 5 times a week.

Thanks

Unjury makes a chicken broth that is pretty good, kinda high in sodium but is a nice change from the sweet

they make a unflavored protien whey powder,  I have added it to my puddings  / oatmeals and stuff like that  I am sure if you play around with it you could make something that you like that is more savory in flavor .

One of my favorites is her pistachio shake. Yum!

I am on day 9 of my pre-op diet (surgery tomorrow) and I can't stand all the sweet stuff, especially because it is all artificially flavored.  We made beef and chicken stock, you can find recipes online if you don't know how.  We have played around with different seasonings, garlic and ginger, parsley.  and I don't mean broth I mean real stock where you cook the bones and other veggies and then strain the liquid.  It has about 6 gr protein a cup (depending on how it was cooked...).  I add a scoop of unflavored unjury or any whey protein powder.  It is pretty much all I have eaten and I feel great.  It gives you potassium and lots of other nutrients and feels lots more like "real food".  It takes some work to cook it but it tastes really good.  Good luck!
