HOORAY!
- The OAC is currently in the election process for the 2013 National Board of Directors. The OAC is governed under the authority of a National Board and accepts applicants for the Board throughout the year. As members of the OAC, you have the opportunity to participate in the election process.
- Below, you will find the 2013 National Board of Directors slate, where we have seven current Board members returning and one new candidate to present. We are asking you to review this slate, and take action if needed. Alternate candidates can be presented, but must receive 5 percent of the vote to be on the slate. If you do not have any alternate candidates or objections, no action is needed. Details of the process may be found below the slate of presented candidates.

Awww thank you for this post and the lovely comments. xo. I'm jazzed about serving on the OAC Board.
If you guys aren't members... go now. Best $20 you will ever spend. The Obesity Action Coalition is a tireless voice for those affected by obesity, there's a saying, "sticks in a bundle are unbreakable" one person's voice is great but all of us together.... unstoppable. Along with the representation in advocacy issues for those affected by obesity fighting for access to treatment, bias, discrimination, etc., they are an awesome educational resource, next year plan to attend the OAC convention, it was amazing.
Anyway... LOL enough with the commercial. Seriously though we are a stronger voice together.
Thank you again OH family,
~Michelle "Shelly" (aka Eggface)
