Does anyone have Molina healthcare Ohio (medicaid)?

Hi !

Has anyone here ever had Molina healthcare ( Or known someone who has) ? If so, was your surgery approved or denied ? Did you have to appeal ?

Yes, I have Molina, and my RNY and all the tests was covered 100 %...My doctor sent a request in, and within a few weeks it was approved...I was 440 pounds, on oxygen, had diabeties, high blood pressure and asthma...My oxygen levels were so low that I had trouble staying away, and staying focused...My doctor said that he would give me a year to live if I didn't have the surgery...Guess molena must of thought I needed this done right away, because it didnt take long to get the approval and surgery date...Good luck!

I had my surgery almost 7 years ago...Dr Derrick Martin did mine out of Dayton, but he no longer does surgeries.
