Anyone have united health care ( great lakes insurance) medicaid

The best thing to do is once you get the list of the pre-testing and appointments is to call right away to allt he doctor's and testing centers right away and get all your appointments done as soon as you can.  cause if they find something else that may prolong your surgery you can get it treated sooner rather than later.

Anytime.  I was reading some of the other posts on your feed and what they said is true to.  If you have documentation from you PCP with all your weight documentation for the past six month or more,  UHC will probably take that as your six months of documentation.  Good Luck!!!!!!

I have United Healthcare in Ohio, and I had to do a 6 month Supervised diet and exercise.  I also had to have a sleep test, ekg, pulmonary test, etc...Once all that was done,  The office submitted everything to them on a friday morning,  I was called Monday afternoon that they had approved it.  NO problems at all!!

So did you see any weightloss doctors before now? I ask because I have been seeing a weightloss doctor since 2006 taking phen, Wellbutrin,adepix and nothing work lose weight to only gain double.....If I have to do the 6 months that's fine but don't want too I have been throught a lot and I'm ready to get this weight of......so when did u first meet with the surgeon? How long was ur total process since day one til now cause I see u get the surgery this month u go girl happy for ya.......
