Wellbutrin

Anyone have any experience with taking Wellbutrin? My PCP just called & said he was going to put me on this & to keep taking my 40 mg of Celexa. Would love to hear of anyone's experiences with this drug post op or even pre op. Thanks!

Wellbutrin was a good experience for me. Celexa was a horrid one for me. I know others who do well on Celexa...I just wasn't one of them.

Side effects to Wellbutrin (thankfully I had none of them).

Just be aware of any side effects and even if not listed and you just do NOT feel right, contact your doctor.

Thanks! Yeah I have read up on it & the side effects all afternoon & talked with the pharmacist about it. Hopefully it works well for me. I go to see the Dr in 3 weeks.

I told my doc that I was feeling tired a lot. Had been on celexa for yrs. she said to try Wellbutrin, it helped with energy. So I changed. For the first 3 mths I was happy and energetic .  THEN......I turned into a foul *****!!!

turns out that celexa is a mood enhancer so during that 3 mths I still had some in my system plus the energy of new drug......it's called 'the honeymoon' period. When celexa wore off..........all hell broke loose.  I quit Wellbutrin and went back to celexa.  You can take both. I just didn't want two dif antidepressants.
