I really should know better by not to weigh daily but this morning got on the scale to see 384.6 yesterday i was 383.0 I haven't done anything wrong! I went in the shower and got out and was 383.8 kind of baffled by this.. i know it's one day and i shouldn't be concerned but at the same time i was a little.

Anyone experience this that has gone through the RNY? I am 16 days post-op.

I am almost 10 months out and this happens all the time and actually more frequently when your weight loss slows down.  It is easy to become obsessed with the scale, especially when the weight loss is so new and frequent, it's almost like we don't want to miss noticing one pound loss.  I get it, I've been there, and I still step on the scale everyday.  You're not doing anything wrong but driving yourself bananas.  Here is my advice, hide the scale and step on it once a week or step on it daily accept the fact that it's going to fluctuate and take it as it is but do not let it dictate how you feel about yourself,  I decided long ago that no matter what the scale said, my weight was the lowest number that I'd seen no matter how many pounds it fluctuated.  Stay with it girl and take a deep breath.  The scale can still be your worst enemy.

It's common. Try to relax!! Have you taken your measurements? I took mine every 2 weeks during my losing phase. Knowing I was losing inches helped me feel better when I was not losing like I thought I was supposed to.
