Well yesterday was my 13th month post op date & I'm down 115 lbs. Been at 200 lbs the past 2 days & so ready to break into the 100's. It's been a long road, but one that I'm grateful for. Just looked back at my weight records & realized it took me 6 months just to lose 25 lbs, but that's ok. At least I'm still losing & I'm thankful for that. I would still like to lose another 35 lbs & I'm confident I can get there. I finally went down to a size 16 but had to buy a belt for the first time since I was a kid, due to the fact that they don't want to stay up. Not sure if I need to attempt a size 14 or not. I don't like tight fitting pants & believe it might be too tight for my liking so I bought a belt instead. Lol I have to say I was overwhelmed in the belt section. I didn't know what to even look for. I know that sounds silly, but I didn't. I was wishing I had my daughter with me since she buys belts all the time. Anyways I've rambled on long enough, just wanted to share a little bit of my happiness today.

This is where you really start dropping sizes fast - once you leave the Plus dept.  It seemed every 5-10 lbs I needed new clothes, so don't be afraid to try on a size 14, or you may skip it altogether right to size 12.

Congratulations!  I'm so happy for you.  Those of use who journey between twoterville and onederland seem to stay stuck at that 200 number forever!  But, eventually, the scale will move.  I've been a 14 for a couple of years now, but still haven't invested in a belt.  There are a few days every now and then when I wish I had one -- otherwise, I just pretend I'm one of those hip hop kids!

Congrats on needing a belt!  Or maybe as a previous poster suggested, a smaller size.  It sounds like you are doing great in your weight loss.

Thanks everyone! I had worn an 18 since Sept so I didn't expect it to change so fast this time.
