Does anyone else get excited about a great POOP?

I know to some, this may be inappropriate, but I am a believer that ones bm's are a direct result of nutrition.  For the first 3-4 years after my rny, I had err atic poops.  Now, because of proper nutrition, vitamins and water, my poops are a joy.  Yes, I said it...A JOY.  So there, I got it out.  This rant is ALMOST.  ALMOST, as relieving as a good poop.  Happy nutrition and health friends. LOL! Yes, there's a great deal of satisfaction in a good poop--especially if you've ever experienced the joys of constipation. (*grin*)

I guess I've never really been able to nail down what a good POOP really is. Should it float, sink, bob, smear, be smooth, be lumpy, or what? Before surgery I went 3-4 times a day all different types. After surgery I go once a day (rarely do I miss a day and rarely do I go twice or more in a day) and ALL of them sink and a lot of them are kind of rough to get out like they're too big (round). I've had a few that are unbelievably long, I mean LONG like a darn snake.

Ha ha!  To have a movement that doesn't hurt a bit and is a nice consistency is a great thing.  Since surgery I have quite the various poops.  So I guess my nutrition is still a work in progress.

Every time I poop I think of how happy I am and how I took pooping for granted before surgery!!! lol  Just yesterday I was thinking about starting a thread about it and am glad you did cause I know I"m not the only one who feels this way :)

You've been reading my diary.

What is your secret?  I think I have it all worked out, get into a routine and things are moving along fine (no pun intended) and then, with absolutely no change in anything I have problems.  I've been so plugged up I was praying for diarrhea or even booking a colonoscopy to get cleaned out.  I'll never forget my birthday last year because I woke up and had the best BM I've had in a long time and it was a perfect birthday present.  Geez, have I gotten old or what?
