That was hard.

I stopped at the grocery store on the way home from work. Shopping for me (protein + veg) was easy because it was all on the perimeter. Shopping for everyone else was so hard. Whoever says this is not an addiction needs to be smacked in the head!

Maybe because I don't go very often because I don't cook but for me the grocery store is typically overwhelming and I usually come away with nothing.  I went last night to buy tea bags and lemons for myself and I bought my bf some fresh apple fritters.  Once I look at the calories in anything I never want to buy it.  I don't eat any junk during the week so I didn't even look for anything else.

Eating from the perimeter would be good for the rest of your family, too, you know. (*grin*)

I think it is an addiction!  The 'head hunger' will get to you once you have the surgery, too.
