Sleep study tonight

Typing this hooked up like Frankenstein or some kid's science fair entry. Had my gallbladder ultrasound this am. And, told the us tech I was having surgery next week. It made me pause for a minute - is that right? Yep! Last hurdles are complete.

I looked in the mirror at all my wires and leads and said, "Luke, I am your father."

Congrats!!! I hope you had a good night's sleep! I got my scripts for ultrasounds and sleep study today! Which surgery are you having?

OMG, FINALLY. What a long road to get here. My frame of mind at the moment: nervous anticipation, sort of like shortly before I went into labor with my kids.

LOL!

All things considered it wasn't too bad. The tech was really nice. The bed was reasonably comfortable. But, I just found a plug of goop in my hair (thinking about Something About Mary and trying not to laugh in my last meeting). I cannot wait to get home and shower this afternoon.

Tech said some hypopneas but no apnea from what he saw, of course, it's all up to the doc.
