Selenium??
My nutritionist said to find a chewable mulitvitamin that has 100% daily for iron, copper, zinc and selenium. But I can't find one that has 100% for selenium. Is this ok?
I think most do not have 100% of selenium, and I think that is OK. The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery says to use a multi with 100% of the RDA of at least 2/3 of all nutrients and to use one that has selenium, but not that it must have 100% of selenium.
Did you ask your dietician what brand she suggests?
I would use something like Centrum Silver, Celebrate or Bariatric Advantage chewables, all of which give you some selenium, just not 100%.

Regular Centrum that you swallow has selenium.
Regular chewable Centrum does not have selenium.
Chewable Centrum Silver has selenium, but it does not have vitamin K or iron. Since most people need more iron than what they will get in a multi anyway, I don't see it as a problem if a multi doesn't have iron. Just take more iron at another time. For instance, the ASMBS says menstruating women need 54 to 63 mg iron after RNY. Most multis with iron only have 18 mg, so if I took two multis a day as recommended by the ASMBS, I'd still need to take another 18 to 27 mg iron later. So why not just take a multi without iron and take the 54 to 63 mg iron separately? If you take a multi without vitamin K, you want to make sure you get your vitamin K level checked when you get labs done (which I would get checked anyway) and then add some vitamin K if your labs showed you needed it.
Celebrate and Bariatric chewable multis do have selenium, though. The Celebrate has something like 71.5% of the RDA of selenium per tablet, which is not quite 100% but I think it's close enough.
