Why do I sometimes see the end of one word and the beginning of the next word with asterisks? Example, I just read one that the 2 words were "excep****er" and it said "exc*******er"

You have the "block adult content" setting on. If you look at the last letter of "except" and the first 3 of "water", you'll see a "naughty" word that gets blocked with asterisks. If you go into your settings, you can change that.

Yeah, you've got babysitter settings. They don't want to burn your eyes or anything with curse words. The problem is that the words selected as inappropriate make no sense at all.
