protein pudding recommendations?
Good point, thanks! She can't tolerate chocolate well so this just might work.

Hoping your Grandmother is comfortable and they are able to get her some sustanance :( I was just going to say to make the pudding yourself. The storebought canned one is not the tastiest. I mix whey isloate protein into most anything a scoop or 2 in the cold milk (2% or above fat content cow's milk, not almond, soy or coconut those won't set) portion when you make the instant boxed. Add it to yogurt if she can eat that. Make protein yogurt cubes and toss them into smoothies for her http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2013/01/high- protein-greek-yogurt-cubes.html Cottage cheese is another thing to add to smoothies (you can't tell it's in there when its whizzed) http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2009/07/cherr y-heaven.html Maybe something warm too http://www.celebratevitamins.com/ makes a Chicken Soup protein (27 grams of protein pers serving.)

The secret is to make the pudding in a blender. Put the milk in first, then the unflavored protein powder and blend that well. Then take off the small cap part at the top of the blender and pour the instant pudding mix in while the blender is still running. Blend about 30-60 seconds and quickly pour into single serving containers. Do it quickly or the pudding will set up in the blender.
In five minutes you have ready to eat pudding that tastes so much better than the protein pudding you can buy in stores. Sometimes I blend a package of cream cheese with the milk and protein powder. That results in a great cheesecake protein pudding. Having everything well mixed before you add the pudding seems to make it taste much better.
I second the recommendation for Benefiber.
Forget the expensive "Protein Pudding" items. Simply mix ricotta cheese with instant pudding mix, adding enough milk or heavy cream to get it to a smooth desired consistency while mixing. I like using a stand mixer with a whisk to get a good smoothness. Ricotta has 28g of protein in only a cup, and she can pick whatever flavor she loves and no whey aftertaste.
