Good Mornin Val Schweetie! Too bad you didn't get today, the holiday off work, do they pay you doubletime? ( of course they don't, they are chinsey) Mom and I were gonna bar-b-q today, but decided to do it tomorrow, my BD- and I have some very lean pork country ribs marinating in the frig- I see eating maybe half a small one in my future. Hardly worth firing the grill up, but darn-it anyway, I need that outdoors cooked taste after all this time. I made a potato salad out of Jicama, which always tastes great- got the recipe from WW from about 30 years ago, and it tastes as wonderful today, at leat some things don't change. Also made a crab salad, always with my eye to protein. I am finally getting my mom to eat more protein and less junk- and wonder of wonders, she is dropping pounds which makes her a happy camper. I am making a trip to the cemetary to place some flowers on my first husbands grave- he died in Nam such a young man, so long ago, and its always something that brings back some very sad memories. Memories be darned, I will just go and cus out the powers that be that placed a 19 year old in harms way, like usual, then come home and be thankful he was there and worked hard to help keep america safe. Good Morning to my Favorite Doc Guess what ..they do pay me double time that is the only good thing about them Happy Birthday tomorrow Hope it is a beautiful one I am going next weekend up to Moms grave. I am taking Amber with me and we are going to have a fun day. It is in my home town so i am going to take her to meet some of my friends ,to the flea market,the outlet mall and to my cousins graduation from college She is excited about it all and so am i Yea i agree ,.some memories hurt us alot..some make us mad,and some we need to try to put behind us ,but then again ,we have to take the good with the bad and i try to find something good out of all my memories I hope you have a beautiful day and you can be sure i will not take any more crap from the puppetmaster If she makes this week too hard on me i will let her "Handle it" and she can work my last week out Love ya Val
