Wondering if anyone else is having such a problem.....

Hi everyone,i had my surgery Dec 3 .2014 and everything is going well....i weigh myself every Sunday and i have lost 66 lbs including my pre-op weight.After my surgery i noticed i had to urge to pee often and when i did go it was almost just a dribble(not really sure how to say it as i am french but before surgery was like when i peed i had pressure in my pee..lol )now it seems like its getting worse .Its like i cant empty my bladder right .Anyone else had this issue? I see doc in 2 weeks (my family physician)

I would call pcp -UTI.  Bladder infection..?

All I can say is that if you've got a UTI, you'd definitely know it.  Pain on urination, frequent urges to urinate, chills, maybe even blood in the urine.

Otherwise, yeah, a visit to your PCP is in order if you're really bothered.

I found that as a I lost weight that my excess skin hung down and made it much more difficult to empty my bladder.  I would physically have to bend over and pull up the excess skin to fully empty the bladder.  

Because of this difficulty I've had 3 urinary tract infections in the last year.  So I would definitely call you doctor and go in for a urine test to check for infection.  Don't wait 2 weeks because the infection can move up into your kidneys and that is BIG trouble.  

Sound like a uti same thing happened to me I felt the urge to pee and when I did it was like nothing! Went to the dr and it was a UTI.  I didn't have pain or burning just the urge to pee all the time!
