Having foamies, HARDCORE
Chris - the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Webmaster must be getting bombarded with emails asking they correct the terminology on their web page as well. The procedure is a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy, the stomach is referred as a tubular pouch. You are correct calling it a pouch. though I respect anyones OPINION to state otherwise.

The Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy - often called the sleeve - is performed by removing approximately 80 percent of the stomach. The remaining stomach is a tubular pouch that resembles a banana.
lol thanks man...
To me, its all just a way to reference a modified stomach. I dont think either way to call it is incorrect... I do also see the vets points on trying to make sure everyone is clear, but at the same time... I dont know how often someone would not be addressing whether they are talking about RNY or VSG when calling their stomach a pouch or sleeve or tube.. Either way, its still a stomach.

Don't know how to add a pic from my gallery to here. This was the day I got discharged (phase 2). Phase 3 was first day home

I would be getting better clarification from my surgeon as to how long each stage/phase is. When I was discharged I got a 15 page pamphlet that explained how long each stage was. Stage 1 liquids were for 1 week, stage 2 pureed foods was weeks 2-3, stage 3 soft foods was weeks 4-5 and solid foods started at week 6.
Not all surgeons have the best post surgical plans and some rush people into eating things to soon.
Yup I have one :) i built it into a google calendar and also has when to start/use medicines :D

Maybe your sleeve isn't ready for eggs, even though they're allowed.
I advanced at a glacier pace compared to some, I'm RNY, but I know some RNYers advanced at your pace. I'd have been nervous to even attempt eggs so early out, even with them being allowed.
Hope you feel better.

About to head to doctors for check up. I'll bring it up and see what they think and if it's ok for me to do just shakes :)
i def understand all your points (you and others) about the progress stages. I'm just feeling confident the egg didn't cause it, which I guess isn't to say it couldn't in the future ?
Anyone have any tips on how to speed foamies along lol
