Ideas to help keep us on the right track

There are a few of mine:
- Never go shopping hungry - eat a meal or real dense protein snack.
- Always carry legal snacks - food in my purse and in my car. A must. I have more tendency to grab something and eat it when I know I don't have any "food" with me. I typically have 2-4 of the following - individually packed servings of low sugar beef jerky; NSA almond butter, epic bar (meat protein bar), nuts, nut bar...etc. I have no excuse to grab crackers or other food.
- If I have a lapse of judgement - i take a mental note - and start proper eating the very next meal...I try not to stress too much about it - don't beat myself over that.
- Having variety of food in the house....fresh or frozen.
- And last but not least - every once in a while have "a cheat meal" - that I can have anything and everything I want.
