I had gastric sleeve surgery 10/25/2023. My white blood cell count went down to 5.4 in November. Late February it was 4.4 . Now it is April and it is 3.9. My primary care is concerned so i was referred to a hematologist cancer center. Has anyone else had this issue ?

It's good that your primary care physician is taking your declining WBC count seriously and referring you to a specialist. With proper evaluation and management, you can identify the cause and take steps to address it. If you have any concerns or questions in the meantime, don't hesitate to reach out to your healthcare provider for guidance. snow rider

It's great that you're proactive about getting it checked out. I haven't had the same experience, but I've heard that changes in white blood cell count can sometimes happen after surgery. Hopefully, the hematologist can shed some light on what's going on.

How are you doing now? Recovering from surgery was pretty intense for me as well--I remember how tough those first few days were. To help manage the pain and speed up the healing process, I ordered a bunch of painkillers and other essentials from Canada Pharmacy Partner . Having everything I needed delivered made things a lot easier and less stressful. It's amazing how the right support and meds can make such a difference in recovery. I hope you're feeling stronger every day, and if you ever want tips on what helped me or just someone to talk to during recovery, I'm here.
