Hello, I have heard that is better for you. You are using your own resistence with the water which is less painful... and if the water is warm, it feels nice on your painful joints.

My dr. referred me for some therapy like parfin wax therapy and other massages as well. Nothing to drastic just enough to get the knots out and make me feel better.

Hi there... Do you think you can ask the dr. to run some blood work on you? That can determine if your RH factor is high.. although some times it comes back normal and you still might have the Arthrtis...

hope you are feeling better.. let me know

thanks
Irene :)

Arthritis or something else ? The past week or so my hands feel like I have slept all night with my hands clenched. It kind of feels like my fingers are swollen but they really aren't.  Kind of feels like a "pinching" sensation . I really don't know how to explain it. I think I may make a doctors appt this week to have it checked out.  I have been taking Celebrex but it doesn't seem to be helping any. I am also taking Ultram but that doesn't help either.
Wish I had a clue....

So did you have blood work or special tests done?.  My docs diagnosed me just by a physical exam and me telling them my symptoms.I hate this disease and my family really doesn't get it.  Since they can't see the disease, it is hard for them to relate to.  KimM

I have a sticker, a hot tub, and take 225mg. of Lyrica twice a day.  If I don't take the Lyrica I absolutely know it.  But, in the 4 months I was first on it, I gained 30 pounds.  Those 30 pounds were the final straw in the decision to get a lapband.  Now they are off, plus more, and I'm grateful.  I did get sleepy, but that passed.  I tried 75 for 3 days, then went up to 150 for a week, then after a month, I went up to three morning and night.  But as long as you are careful, you won't gain the weight.  I just happened to gain the weight over Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I take Lyrica for my fibromyalgia.  It seems to help.  I was diagnosed about a year ago.  I also have RA.  The Lyrica seems to help.  I have a lapband also.

I take Mobic.  I have a lapband, and I can't stand the liquids, so I just take it with food.,  I actually take most of my regular medications by pill.  I know it's bad, but no lectures, please.  I'm also on Remicade.
