Topic: Anyone have relief w/ steroid shots ??

I had a steroid shot in my lower lumbar nearly 3 weeks ago , it took 4 days to kick in and seems to have worn off already.. Anyone have any luck with steroid shots?? pls tell me what i can expect. I had mine for siatica .

Topic: ??? about first 5 days and what is typical?
Today was my fourth day after surgery and I really felt good. went shopping etc... Is this typical?
I really feel close to myself, with the exception of not moving my bowels? Does anyone have an idea how long that is?
2) can you stretch your sleeve too much in the beginning. Today it was so much easier to drink the fluids and not have that lump in my throat?
3) do you think going back to work after 4 days is too soon?
4) today was sunday dinner, typical italian pasta night, with meatballs, sausage, pasta, salad. I have to admit I did feel a litte want for food in my mouth, but I was not hungry. I hope I can do this, does i get easier once you start eating real food again?

Topic: RE: Do you take Plaquenil?
I've taken Plaquenil since 1996. I have OA, but it gave me more mobility. I get my annual eye checks and have no side effects that I know about.
