I can't help it, I got to do it!!
Post Pics!!!
Hi BAF Family,
I had really been beating myself up for not having reached my goal after almost 4.5 years. I had lost somewhere between 75-80lbs during my first year out. *** Warning to Newbies- Don't be a knuckle head like me....follow your program. *** When my back slide got into full swing, I started to gain weight back. I was really ashamed and depressed about it. Well since my birthday in February, I have really been making a concerted effort to stay on track. I think the most important thing that I have been doing for myself is working out. I try to get in 4-5 days of cardio a week. I am also logging in all my food to make sure I stay on track. I have lost nearly 25lbs since February and feel well on my way to a reachable goal. This past weekend I was in NYC at a conference. I got so many compliments from people who had not seen me in a while....comments about my bone structure!!! LOL! Imagine that I guess it was hard to tell I had bones before. I finally feel like I can do this thing...I want to beat the hell out of the battle of the bulge. I thanked God today for given me another chance for an obesity free lifestyle. I thank God for you all. You have helped me more than you know. I just had to post pics to give myself a pat on the back. I also need to say that I am 227lbs and proud of it. No longer will I be ashamed of my accomplishment. I figure if I lose another 50 pounds..I can see what I need to go from there. Thanks all.
