No, you were to intent to rush in and post a inflammatory question when you are too naive or in denial to accept the answers.

The funny thing IRL I have very few Black friends.  I left home as soon as I could and moved to Naples, Fl-very few AA there.  Then when I began travelling with work there were not many AA in the areas I worked in.  When I decided to return home the only contacts/networks I had kept going were college friends who all happen to be white.  Probably since my college at the time had a 3% Black population.  I am the only black person in my company's local branch and live in a town that is ddiveerse but doesn't have many Black people.

So for me BAF has offered me a place to meet local Black people that understand what my weight loss journey is like.  It has offered me a chance and place to make connections with people I otherwise woould have not met.  Now I am active on other boards however BAF is home.

I am so done with you and this topic.  You wanted the answer to your question when it stares you in your face on the entrance page.  I tried to give you a deeper understanding of the mechanics of the board only to be called racist.  It is safe to say you have no idea what racist truly means if you interpreted my answer in such a way.

and all that shyt I wrote, she didn't even call Me a "racist". See, I don't try to be "diplomatic" or figure out HER psychological needs...I just say boom, this is Me, take Me or leave Me. I think people relate more to that than a lot of nice stuff. Believe it or not, I get along great with white folks, maybe because they know that I am Intellectually Honest.

Hey Michelle, don't feel bad cause she interpreted your words as racist, she really didn't come in here to "understand" Black folks who come to BAF...that's why she missed your point. She had her own agenda and she got what she came for...now she might X-Post and try to really start some shyt...don't be surprised.

Honey, by starting off your curious inquiry with "I am Not a Racist" brings many questions to mind. I would advise you to articulately cultivate your words with sincerity before entering the bridge of no return.

Look at the other forums many are targeting white Americans. And  I am not offended.  What U don't understand is that   being in the majority everything is about you unless it specifies differently.  I don't fault you not seeing  what is so clear to the none white whole. You are welcome to come and to post here. We don't bite . Most of us.  I also enjoy the men's forum. We do bite over their and they are rude to any women that  post. 

Ok... listen, perhaps we ALL got off on the wrong foot. Perhaps I misworded my original post. It was most definitely misinterpreted. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, it was not my intention. I really was just curious, there was no deeper purpose or "agenda". I'm definitely not here to steal anyone's men, I'm happy married- so don't worry about me :) When I said "have at it", I meant at this thread... I could care less about this forum. I'm not here to fight with anyone or to start race wars. My main question was answered... in many different ways. Now I know that if they did create a  "White Americans Forum", at least it wouldn't be offensive to anyone. Like I said, I'm not going to go petitioning for one, it's not that important to me... I really was just curious.

There is not a Black person in America over age ten who has not come upon the likes of you over and over again.  Your brand of couriosity.  Your attitude towards our diverse opinions and perspectives on our lives.  Your presumption that we should be scolded for being ourselves as we respond to your "I am not a racist" idle curiosity says it all. 

The likes of you magnify my gratitude for having my Black American Forum family as part of my support system.   With God's grace I hope never to encounter you again. 

Maybe we need to make this a sticky note, so that the next curious person won't have to post their question. I really dont understand why they are so curious, it is obvious that there are just certain questions that a Non-AA could not answer. Just like there are certain things that a AA could not answer for a Non-AA. This post has me SMDH!
