I WAS CRUSHED

I was at the  line at the grocery store yesterday and while I was standing in line a woman asked me was I pregnant. I felt so crushed I could not believe it I just replied no I am just fat. The other people in line just put their heads down and the lady apologized I felt like curling up in a ball and dying. I am so glad I am getting my  consultation with Dr. Chua on Mon Sept 21. I did not know I looked that bad I have lost 8pds that ladies comment had me so down I came home cooked for my family and just laid down in my bed. My fiance and my children kept asking what was wrong but I could not bring myself to tell them I felt so embrassed.

sorry for that. 

Sometimes people suck. 

Don't let this distract you from your goal - keep on with your plan and know that you're on your first step to a new life starting with your appt on Monday.

Ohhhh, I'm sorry this happened to you! When you embrace yourself then others will too. You can't let people have control of your mood! Been there done that! You should have told her, no Dear I'm just PHAT! I'm pretty, I'm Hot and very tempting!! AND BELIEVE IT! ((((((hUGS))))))) TO YOU!!!!!

I am so sorry that happened to you. Sometimes ppl should think before they speak. Please dont get down I know it is hard. But you are making strides to change your life for the good. Dont let ppl and their ignorance discourage you. We are here for you. Congratulations on your 8lb lost.. That is great!!!

 <-----------on your 8 lbs. Also, it was very gracious of you to reply to her in that manner. These days and times she might have gotten a beat down. Also she did apologize. I am sure if she has an ounce of humanity she felt bad also. Forgive her, move on and continue on your path to healing. You came home to a fiance and children who:
A) noticed something was wrong
B) kept asking ...I am guessing to see if they could do do something to help

That is also a blessing. I have been a widow for 15 years.(after 8 years of marriage) There is no one here to ask whats wrong, confide in or hope for comfort from. Don't shut out your fiance. If this is someone you are planning to pledge marrige vows with, allow him to be your cover and comfort. I hope you woke up today feeling better.

Awww sweetie.  I'm sorry you had to go through that. I have been there and I know how it hurts and how embarrassed you must have been.  But sweetie,  you lost 8lbs!!!  Congrats!!  That is a victory and that is what you have to concentrate on.  Before you know it, it's going to be nothing but victories, on and off the scale. 

I had this happen once to me before also and I felt like crap for an entire day.  
It sucks but I hope you are able to let it go quickly so you can move past the hurt feelings.
