Call to all Christians Help

For all who were call are given the Holy Spirit of Christ. Because Christ lives on the inside of us we can do all things. Its the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. Yet i can't even keep my mouth from over eatting. I can't be disciple. When I can't eat something I want then I bring up what I ate and eat the rest (tears) I've call out to God to help we pull forth that strength and still I fail. It's my battle with my mind and its winning. Where is the God in me (tears)

Hey Sweetheart, firstly I am sorry you are going through this.  It's bandster hell for sure, but this I know at least you are doing the first thing right...you are standing on God's word and leaning to Him for your strength. He's got you sweetheart.

What I think may be the issue is this...you're too tight or irritated from all of the barfing.  Test your pouch.  Go back to basics.  Clear liquids for a few days, then full liquids for a few days, then mushies for a few, then on to soft foods, to real foods.  Give yourself a good 7-10 days.  Use this time to fast somewhat and pray.  It will also let your pouch calm down. 

The reason why you eat after puking is because now that whatever was blocking your stoma is now gone, you feel relief and you're still hungry!  Stop the madness and just let your pouch rest.  If you really are too tight, you'll know by then. If not, it was just sooo irritated and needed a break. 

So back to basics sweetie, liquids, mushies, and then eating a clean bandster diet....chew, chew, chew....20/30/20....no drinking and eating...no soda, no caffeine.  You know the drill. You should see some relief relatively quickly.

Before you lay a guilt trip on yourself for lacking in spiritual strength and self discipline, please check with your doctor to make sure your band is functioning properly. 

God wants you healthy AND happy!  Take care. 

Yep!!!!!!!! Totally agree with So Blessed!!

My doctor cut out on us soon after our surgery and no other doctor would take us on. Over 100,000  patient left high and dry. 3 years later I catch up with him and he says my band is fine. No adjustment now in over 4 years. I am a little frustrated because besides from you guys I'm out here on my own.  I love what you said about God waqnts you healthy and happy, I am going to hold on to that. Thank you very much.
