I weigh daily and and my weight fluctuates upwards of +/-3 lbs day to day. Yesterday I was at my lowest weight ever- today its up 3#. Considering the fluctuation and knowing my rate of loss is slowing- I'm going to start taking the average of my daily weights as my official weight for the week.
Fitness Goal: Still happy with where I am, 3.5 mile runs, circuit training &, elliptical/stair stepper, bike and weights is the combination of things I cycle though.

Your feelings are normal. I had them, too.
I was up and around the day of surgery -- albeit slowly and uncomfortably. I went back to work teaching on my feet at the university exactly 11 days after my surgery. I was tired and sore, but I was okay.
I only vomited once after surgery and as a reaction to my anesthesia. Nausea wasn't ever really an issue for me -- however, I followed all the rules and drank all my water. I never let myself get dehydrated.
As far as walking for exercise, I started about 3 weeks after surgery. I was very fatigued after work -- most people find that they have very low energy for a while. Your body is recovering from major surgery AND not eating very much. It's tiring. I started simply by walking down my driveway. Seriously. Then, I added half way down my street. Soon, I was walking a mile easily -- then I started using the treadmill, too. Now I can run a 5K without even breaking a sweat. It's crazy. But, I hate exercise --
I wish you every success. You have a whole lot to look forward to. I know it's scary, but I promise, it's worthwhile.

OH is great for finding out options regarding WLS. All you have to do is read.
I do want to say that you should consider surgery because YOU want it, not because your husband pressures you into it. Surgery is not a magic bullet and will not solve your issues with food. Success requires commitment to permanent changes in your life. Getting ahead of the game by going to support groups or an eating disorder therapist will help you examine your behaviors and reasons why you overeat. Take care of your head issues now and your body will follow.
I understand that Canada has a long waiting list and requirements to qualify for surgery, so I can't comment intelligently on that. I will say that WLS is the best decision I've made for myself. It's changed how I feel physically and mentally. It is not easy. It will never be easy. I will always have an unhealthy relationship with food. The difference is now that I can control it better than I did in the past.
We often see people on OH falling into the trap of thinking that those pounds you lose are gone "forever." If you don't follow your plan and go back to eating the way you did prior to surgery, the weight will come back. Even though you think you're barely eating enough to feed a squirrel, the weight will come back quite easily. With the RNY, you will have the added benefit of malabsorption for a limited period of time. With the VSG, it's just restriction. Over time you will be able to eat more food. The hardest thing to wrap my mind around is that I can't eat until I have that overwhelming sensation of being full anymore. I miss the head rush that binge eating gives you, but I don't miss being 449 lbs.
For the rest of our lives, we will always have to be diligent. I think about food more now than I did before surgery. Why? Because I don't eat mindlessly, shoveling anything and everything into my mouth. Sometimes I make poor choices, but I'd like to think that I make better choices 90% of the time.
Good luck on your journey. It's hard, but it's worth it.

Thanks Peachpie just lots of emotions. I guess I'm gonna have to just take a deep breath and take a day at a time.

Kat you look great.
Did you have any sickness after surgery, like nausea or vomiting? Also I was wondering at what point was you able to be active like walking or exercising? I am scheduled for surgery Apr 28th , one minute I get so excited about all the possibilities and then I get so scared that I wouldn't do so well. My emotions are just all over the place...arrgggg
