You are right on track. If you do a search for 3 week stall, you'll see that almost everyone hits it about the same time you have. It will start back. No worries.

Hi! Congrats on your recent surgery!!!

I am still waiting to get mine, but I have been on here daily and from what I have read some good advice would be to not worry or overthink it. I read somewhere that since the body is losing weight rapidly, it goes into a bit of a shock (sort of) and the weight loss pauses to allow your body to process what is going on. Be proud of the 30 pounds so far....that's amazing. And just stick to your eating plan and try not to stress! :)

I am 4 weeks out from my sleeve surgery.  I lost 30 pounds so far, but the past week I have been STUCK between 2 pounds.  I swear every time I get on the scale it goes back and forth between those 2 pounds.  Anyone else have this problem?  Don't get me wrong I am so excited I have lost 30 pounds so far, but I have a lot more I need to lose.  Any advice?

High Weight 335

Last week 225.9

This week 222.9

Next goal Onderland-- but I'm also looking forward to 215, that make be 100# lost since surgery.

Fitness Goals: This week I was so comfortable doing my 3 mile runs I ended up doing more then 3- so I'm increasing it to 3.5 miles. I'm still at 20 minutes on the stair stepper. I'm taking a break from weights for a minute. I hurt my left shoulder somehow- honestly it feels more like I ran into something, its a surface hurt, not a deep muscle hurt. Just my shirt on my shoulder makes me wince. But I figure I better not aggravate it.

It surprised me that the weight loss was slow I'm losing about three and a half pounds a week but when I say that people say well that's pretty good I just thought I'd have a huge drop at first when you're really big even when you get 32 pounds off like me it's hard to even see a difference I've had issues with gas and diarrhea I'm on my 5th week post op it doesn't matter what I eat I feel sick afterwards and then food and smells of food just seem disgusting I was also surprised that I feel hungry I usually wake up every morning thinking about going to different restaurants I don't do it but I definitely am hungry but then after I eat something I feel lousy for a while I also really considered the surgery a minor surgery even though people out here said it is major surgery I'm not sure I will call it major surgery but it's definitely not minor.  I also was surprised that yes it is just a tool I have to count my calories and it's just like being on a strict diet you have to follow pretty much a diet if you want it to work and that surprised me too I also in my mind thought it would be magic but it's not.  It took a friend of mine a full year to lose the weight she wanted and I've already had one stall, ever since surgery I have felt so tired I'm getting blood work done this month with my primary care to check on my blood levels, butt out here I've learned that's cause weight loss fatigue.  Just sharing some of my personal struggles

That reminds me of my favorite George Carlin quote:

"Here's all you have to know about men and women: women are crazy, men are stupid. And the main reason women are crazy is that men are stupid."

I hope this week is better for you!!
