Topic: RE: My surgery is in 2 Days!

Hi everyone! Yes I am home ni went in on the 25th of January (Monday) and I was back home on Thirsday. Everything went well. I just experienced some pain for the first few days but pain meds helped a lot. I feel so tired all the time still even though I did go back to work the following Tuesday. I'm also experiencing some Nausea and water doesn't seem to be going down as smoothly as other liquids. Good thing is that I have already lost 25lbs!!! So exciting! Still very excited and optimistic about this journey!!

I will definitely participate in that!  That will be someone I have to "report" to and stay accountable! :)  Better yet, people to talk to who have been there and done that to share struggles and achievements with!  Thanks for the kind words!

Hi Kala! Congrats on your upcoming surgery and choosing to get your health on track! This forum has a regular weekly weigh in, I encourage you to take part in it- it helps talking things out with those who've been there. Lots of ups and downs will occur,  but keep your eyes on the Long term outcome!

Second week on Optifast, and down 5 more pounds. Well, that's on my scale compared to last week on my scale, I'll have to see what happens at the doctor's scale compared to last week on the doctor's scale.

I'm glad that my fear of lying around lethargically and being cranky, while eating limited calories on Optifast, did not happen. My energy levels seem normal or even better than normal.

What's an under-the-desk elliptical? I was looking at an under-the-desk bike pedaling doohickey. I wasn't sure how much I'd really use it, though. So, I'm interested to see how you make out with your under-the-desk exercise thingamabob.
