Update!! Guess what!!???
I'M PREGNANT!!
I am SOOOOO excited! Today I am 5 weeks. I am down to 145 which is 5 pound below my goal.
I am however trying to find out about my vitamin levels. My OB nurse does not know anything about the DS and suggests that I contact my surgeon to find out if there is something more I should do about my vitamins. They called in prenatals and I plan to replace my 2 multi's with 2 prenatals per day. However, I am unsure if I need to stop taking anything or increase something. Right now, besides the multi's, I take:
1600 mg Calcium
2 iron (should be 3
)
1000 mg vit C
1 ADEK
I will call my surgeons office today...but I just wanted to share the great news!!

WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As soon as I saw the "Guess what!!??" I KNEW you were pregnant! YAY!!! I am sooooo happy for you! As you know (probably) I am 6 1/2 months pregnant...The only thing I've had to do is stop taking my A&D since the Calcium I take already has D in it as do my pre nat's...The OB said that too much A leads to retardation...Sooooo...But, other than that...I and Baby Drew are doing just fine! He's had me up since 3:30am kicking me and playing with my bladder...It's soooo funny, because when my tummy gurgles real loud, he moves and squirms a lot. I guess it's a good thing tho since he's going to have to BIG MOUTHED BULL FROG BROTHERS...At least the noise won't bother him as much. I am sooooo thrilled for you. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! So, are we hoping for pink or blue?
