I'd like to find a brick and mortar store to buy sugar-free gummy bears.  Mmmm....   Any suggestions of where to look? ETA:  Midnight run to CVS yielded two pkgs. of sugar-free gummy bears!

Mary, Here is a website you can buy them at just in case you don't have any luck with the store.  I'd say a speciality candy store in a larger city might have some. http://www.candywarehouse.com/sugarfreebears.html :) Tiffany

Often hospitals have affiliated special dietary needs stores within the hospital itself or nearby.  Check out a local diabetes association for resources.

CVS is the only place I can always find them (and they're good!) .  One small international store here in Chicago has the Brach brand, but they are expensive.

Watch out though...those things are poop-in-a-bag !!!!   I use them to clean myself out.  (Those and sugar free Jelly Belly Beans!)

"Poop-in-a-bag" is right on!!  They're good, but I don't mind.  As I know what I'm getting myself into, I'm okay with it.  LOL I haven't tried the Jelly Bellies yet.  Little afraid to, I used to eat the regulars by the pound!  That little bag of the sugar-free version just doesn't look like it would do the trick for me.

The poop in a bag thing??  Is that because they contain the "itols"?   I wasn't a big gummi bear fan but as a kid I become overly fond of the small swedish fish.  Not the big gummy onesthey didn't have the right texture or taste (they weren't as sweet) !! LOL They had to be the small chewy sugary ones and I would take my pennies to the corner store (i'm a city kid)  WOW, Am I old enough to remember penny candies LOL .WOW, I'm glad the sugar siren has not been calling me yet !!! LOL

I've gotten them at Walgreen's and CVS, and my local Stop and Shop  (a grocery chain)...   the candy kiosk at the local mall also carries them, and sugar free Swedish fish, but they're a weird texture.
