Welcome!!!  See!  When I read posts like yours in that you found out specifically b/c one of the DSers posted a blurb about how great it is & someone then learned of it, it makes taking the flak from others worth it.

You're very lucky that one of the surgeons you had already started doing requirements for does the surgery AND that your ins company pays for it . . . AND you found out in time???  It's almost like winning the lottery, isn't it?

I am so glad you heard about the DS before you did anything else. I, unfortunately, did not hear about the DS before I had the GB. So now I have a second chance and going under the knife again, but I am psyched up and going to do it right this time round. Yes, I feel like I have won the lottery as someone else suggested. Stay well my friend and looking forward to reading of your progress.

Hi, Jaellie! Welcome!

Ask anything you like--we're happy to help!

I know a frequent poster here, Kim, is a happy patient of Dr. Kemmeter's. If you haven't "met" he yet, her profile is:

Where has Kimberley been lately, Nicolle?  I haven't seen her around. I could probably pick up the phone and call her or you, but that would take motivation, of which I have none!  Lol!
