I hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready for the holidays.

BITES: (DS Maintenance Mode)
B - 2 IDS vanilla-cinnamon protein coffees (60g)
2nd B - bacon, cheesy scrambled eggs, and grits
S - peanuts
L - Fage yogurt & blueberries
S - white chili with Mex cheese
S - English muffin
D - white chili with sour cream
S - IDS cappuccino protein shake (30g)

VITES:
morning batch: done
3 calcium batches: done 
iron, C & copper: out of Tender iron 
evening batch: done
bedtime batch (2 Proferrin ES irons & strontium): pending

 Hello,
I had a very uneventful weekend. Lots of running yesterday, and today was boring and sleepy. 

Bites:
B- 1 egg omelet with cheese 3 pieces of bacon
S- Protein hot chocolate, first time I tried it and it was tasty
L- cheese, salami, and pickle roll up with a little bit of cream cheese to hold it together
D-roast beef, table spoon of peas, and a tiny sliver of corn bread
S- probably another hot chocolate and some peanuts

All my vites are in except bedtime
no exercise today, just sleepy and rainy and yucky all around.

   *MY* goal weight 9/14/10    I'm just holding on tight and going with with the flow!!

Glad you liked the protein hot chocolate. I think someone has a recipe for hot protein peppermint chocolate. I like that combination and chocolate with cinnamon as well.

How do you make the protein hot chocolate or protein coffee? I see that a lot of people drink these. Are they buying them somewhere. I would love to try it. Thanks in advance.

I'm sure someone will be along to give you an exact recipe (sorry, I don't drink coffee so I can't help!)  but in general the hot protein drinks are made by making the appropriate beverage --coffee, chocolate, etc-- warm (not scalding) and then mixing in protein powder.  The temperature is really important because when protein powder is added to boiling or really hot liquid it turns into this gross chunky mess.

I will be eating leftoevers from last night's Christmas party for days!  Not that I'm complaining - it's all yummy.

BITES

B1: 1.5 deviled eggs
B2: 1.5 deviled eggs
S: 1.5oz cheddar, 6 triscuits
L: hotdog pretzel at the mall, water
S: I forgot which wasn't a good idea.  I came home starving and promptly scarfed...
S: 3 silver dollar sized corn cakes w peach butter.  Oh did my stomach start to hurt!
D: 2 deviled eggs, 2 strips bacon
Need more protein so will probably have a shake in a bit...

Happy back to work day for me tomorrow!  

B-1 oz steak (I've been eating this steak little by little for four days.  There's still some left, but I'm retiring it)
L-EAS Advantage Protein bar (waaay too many sugar alcohols)
S-Atkins Shake
D-2 jumbo shrimp with butter!!
S-handful of cashews
S2-(will probably have some string cheese)

Vites were bad today.  My first day taking iron and it tore up my stomach.  Took my multi's and my A and D and calcium.  I'll have to figure out what to take with the iron to soothe my tummy.

What kind of iron and how are you taking it? Are you trying to take a big dose all at once or trying to sneak up on it?
