***Sunday Bites & Vites***
Try just one a day for a week or so and then add the second. If they're making you constipated, you might want to try Tender chewable iron rather than the Poly.

Tassia,
Check if your calcium has any magnesium in it. My understanding is we should be taking a 2:1 ratio of calcium to magnesium oxide to help absorbtion. As an added bonus, mag oxide also helps the constipation.

Well, thought I would type in my pathetic daily totals.
I have had about 5 cups of milk today. One shrimp wonton soup (from Costco) and some bottles of Propel water.
When I add it all into Sparks people it says I have had 951 calories, 78 carbs, 42 fat, and 62 protein.
Not too impressive, but the best I can do with these side effects from my new medicines. Will see if I can't get in a protein bullet or a shake before bed... but I just ate the soup and not feeling well.
Edited to add: I have taken my 3 BA Chewable vitamins.

Have you though about adding even just 1/2 a scoop of protein powder to your milk? Since you can handle the milk maybe just add a little protein that isn't overwhelming.

I have tried it with two different flavors/brands of protein. It messes with the texture so much that I can't get it down as easy. Where I can drink 8 oz of milk in 5 minutes, it takes 30 to get down the same amount with a little protein shake mixed in.
Don't know exactly what it is... but it is different and it makes me nauseous. Hoping that it will level out in a few days off that stupid Actigall.

I hope things start getting easier soon. I know you're doing your best.

Hi all,
Not that I need to explain this to the DS crew, but I had more bacon than usual today because I had to finish the off package before it expired! I went a bit wild and bought TOO many packages last time.
BITES:
B - 4 slices thick-cut bacon (16 g)
S - 2 slices thick cut bacon, small wedge of Havarti cheese (12 g)
L - leftover low-carb lamb stew, all meat and broth (25 g)
S - Pork taco (made with Trader Joe's reduced carb tortilla) (20 g)
D - Pot roast au jus, 1 roasted broccoli florette, small wedge roasted red potato. (30 g)
I am really in the mood for a warm mug of hot chocolate this evening, so I might try making my own with Splenda and unsweetened cocoa powder.
FLUIDS:
80+ ounces
VITES:
Still too full from dinner to take evening batch. Going to have to hustle to get those in with enough time to spare for bedtime batch.
